As the Warehouse Supervisor for World Kinect you will be responsible foroverseeing the general operations and its staff. You will supervise all functions including receiving, stocking, shipping, monitoring inventory, maintaining and organizing the facility and assisting the manager in all of their respective duties.You will ensure that all products received are safety and securely handled, stored and staged for loading. You will also oversee the performance of employees and their productivity. As the Supervisor you'd be serving as an intermediary between employees and senior management to maintain clear communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
  • Train personnel in proper standard operating procedures.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts and organize personnel for all quarterly inventories as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe facility.
  • Monitor employees weekly time worked and assure that all shifts have adequate coverage.
  • Assist in achieving all warehouse related KPI goals on a monthly basis.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouses or storage yards.
  • Verify inventory levels by reconciling physical counts of stock received in and distributed out of the warehouse.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses or other areas.
  • Maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in good order to ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Determine best storage methods and stock location based on inventory turnover and product type.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear, defects or damage - reporting all issues to Department Supervisors.
  • Drive Non-CDL and/or CDL Trucks to pick up incoming stock or deliver products to Customers.
  • Distribute materials and products to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
  • Maintain warehouse and terminal areas to keep compliance with safety regulations and proper work environment.
  • Adhere to Company Safety Policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, then take orders and payments accordingly.
  • Serve as a dispatcher for truck drivers.
  • Calculate and organize next-day deliveries then place tickets accordingly.
  • Manage degree day and watch tank reports.
  • Complete the truck reconciliation sheet and certain pricing.
  • Serve as a direct contact for drivers throughout each day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/ SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, LICENSURE, CREDENTIAL, EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Lubricant experience desired.
  • Class B CDL desired.
