The Opportunity

Our US Commercial Operations group is looking to add a Quantitative Analyst (Credit) to the Transportation Contracts team of #EnergyProblemSolvers, based in Houston, TX.

Reporting to Manager of Contracts, for Transportation Accounting and Contracts, the Quantitative Analyst (Credit) primarily monitors customer credit exposures as well as maintains customer credit limits.

What you'll do

  • Monitor customer credit limits and credit exposures for 16 natural gas pipelines and storage companies
  • Provide credit approval for new or amended transportation and storage contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare monthly credit exposure reports and variance analyses
  • Prepare monthly capital projects credit monitoring reports
  • Provide ongoing database maintenance, data entry and information retrieval
  • Assist customers with various inquiries related to credit matters
  • Assist security setup for internal and external customers for various transactional systems
  • Assist with system enhancement testing

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education in a related field
  • Four years of related work experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication skills and the ability to create effective solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Midstream Energy transportation contracts
  • Proven experience developing monthly credit exposure reports and variance analyses
