Think is hiring a Sr. Project Manager to contribute to project leadership, project planning, communication management, and typical project management functions of stakeholder management, issues and risk management, and scope management. Essential Functions - What Is Expected of Me in My Role
- Provide leadership to project team members and contribute to a productive and engaged team culture by identifying process improvement opportunities and by being accountable to leadership and the client.
- Lead assigned projects to completion by preparing, implementing, monitoring, and updating the project plan.
- Recognize risk and solve project issues through risk and issue management.
- Develop and execute project communication plans to direct project objectives with all stakeholders; provide project executive status updates.
- Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, client management, and project change control.
- Define and document project goals, requirements, and priorities with management and project sponsors; control and monitor project scope through project close-out.
- Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project objectives to all stakeholders.
- Collect business metrics and assist in project portfolio reporting.
- Manage client meetings by organizing meeting logistics, creating pre-read documents, and providing minutes and action items.
- Enter and manage data in workflow software.
Competencies - What I Need to Perform My Role
- Knowledge of standard project management processes
- Experience with project management tools, such as MS Project, MS SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
- Intermediate level experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to manage effective delivery-focused teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and support client reporting.
- Ability to lead projects with matrixed teams.
- Proficiency at developing and delivering executive summaries to senior management and clients.
- Proficiency at independently determining and developing the best approach to complex problems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships, negotiate deliverables, and balance the needs of teams and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications - What My Role Needs
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in business, organizational design, or related field and at least 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant certification such as Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM), Project Manager Professional (PMP), Agile, or Six Sigma required.
