Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Core member of new product introduction (NPI) programs & supporting existing production test equipment. Responsible for the drafting of new or the modification of existing drawings. Will work on intercompany projects of low / medium complexity and scope. May perform multiple and parallel activities across projects. Works independently or with others on project issues to develop various resolution options.

Works with technical resources on inter-functional projects to achieve key factors of project success, which include; project schedule, project cost, product cost, process / product quality, and transferability to manufacturing. Applies problem solving skills in determining the best technical objectives of assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Make edits / corrections to drawings in PTC Creo
  • Create Parts or assemblies in PTC Creo
  • Utilize processing and design expertise to interact with internal engineers and external suppliers to resolve part design and manufacturability issues.
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Familiarity using PTC Creo to create models and drawings.
  • Some knowledge of AutoCad and SolidWorks.
  • Ability to use basic metrology tools, such as caliper, tape measure and micrometer.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • No travel requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Active in acquiring or completed Associates Degree in related field
