As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will focus on graphic design, illustration, and environmental graphics, including branded environments, signage, and wayfinding systems. You will leverage your expertise in both 2D and 3D design to generate multiple initial concepts and develop them into viable design solutions. This role emphasizes integrating design concepts into built environments across various sectors, including workplace, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use projects. You will collaborate with multiple internal project teams and clients, ensuring that design solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

What You Will Do

  • Design and manage branded environments, including brand identity, environmental graphics, signage, and digital integration.
  • Lead the design and detailing of signage and wayfinding systems at all scales, ensuring compliance with building code requirements and design standards.
  • Mentor junior designers in the signage process and environmental graphic design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, interior design, and strategy, to create cohesive project outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver impactful presentations that communicate the "why" behind design decisions.
  • Update and reinvent static design assets into fresh animations, including dynamic 2D and 3D content for external video use.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing projects effectively while meeting client needs.
  • Coordinate project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Interface with multiple design practices and present concepts clearly and compellingly.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in graphic design, environmental graphics, signage, or a related discipline, preferably within an architecture or design firm.
  • Strong graphic design and illustration skills, with proficiency in typography, composition, and information design across various media (print and digital).
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp, Revit, or similar, with the ability to visualize ideas in two and three dimensions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD tools, and After Effects; experience with programming signage within Revit is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanor with superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively while maintaining a sense of urgency.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage change efficiently.
