About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team in the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industry. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to generate revenue and increase market share.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or business development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Environmental or Food Microbiology industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Achieve sales targets by effectively communicating the value of our products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce CRM
