Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled HVAC facility repair journeyman to join our team. In this role the ideal candidate will have a strong background in a variety of A/C and refrigeration systems. This position requires a detailed oriented individual that can work independently and effectively. Duties of this role include but are not limited to: Perform all adjustments and repairs on boilers, air compressors, HVAC equipment, water filtration, water treatment, and supply equipment. Responsible for preventative maintenance functions as described for all building and grounds equipment. Perform routine inspection of all facility systems as assigned by Plant Services Management. Responsible to keep and maintain accurate data records of all inspections made. Responsible for reporting to Management any discrepancies found during inspections. Responsible for maintaining the lighting system in both the shop and office. Responsible for adding chemicals to all treatment systems. Inspect emergency lighting and air compressor systems. Perform all other duties assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement Requirements: Apprenticeship - 5 years or more in the trade preferred but not required. Journeyman - Applicants must have a journeyman card or have eight (8) years of documented experience in this trade.
