JOB MISSION:

The Project Manager, Digital Operations, will partner with cross functional team members, external partners and leadership to manage 3D Visual Creation and use, to drive digital product creation, Go-to-Market initiatives, brand storytelling and special projects across the global footwear and apparel businesses. You will work closely with NB associates and factory partners to facilitate and drive successful delivery of product digital content and special projects. You will support strategy development and operations execution of our Digital Road Map and manage special projects. Success in this role requires exceptional project management and collaborative skills and techniques to drive the creation and management of clear project objectives, project plans, deliverables as well as a strong partnership with teammates, creative problem-solving skills and a passion for operational excellence. You will ensure that all project deliverables are executed on time, successfully meeting requirements and provide transparency of project status through planning and execution phases across all levels of business.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Project Management - plan, track, manage, facilitate and communicate 3D creation projects throughout a season and special projects within and across seasons.

  • Project Management - In partnership with Sr leaders, support the development of project scope and objectives, drive project execution and monitor and report project progress, objectives, timeframe, scope, quality, costs and ROI. Identify risks and escalate appropriately. Identify potential sources for issue resolution and contact appropriate parties to initiate action.

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external factory partners in support of digital product transformation exploration and growth. Work collaboratively with Operations, Innovation, & Brand Creative on strategic planning and identification of short and long-term roadmap priorities.

  • Participate and support annual strategic planning process around 3D content creation pipeline, new tool deployment, and process development.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, leading strategic projects; footwear & or apparel industry experience a plus.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, collaborate well and effectively communicate with and influence business partners.

  • Complex project management and organizational skills are essential due to evolving fast paced environment.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be action and solution oriented and a creative problem solver.

  • Ability to communicate information in multiple modes and settings to effect change by influencing and persuading cross functional business leaders, and peers to take action.

  • Advanced understanding of project management tools like Asana, as well as MS Office Suite including MS Teams, Excel, Visio, PPT, Word & PPT.

  • Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional, Agile and/or Six Sigma certification a plus.

  • Hybrid - in office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
