Front End Developer, Junior

Bring your passion for creating an amazing user experience to Booz Allen. This is an opportunity to contribute to a project by collaborating with a development team to build web applications with user-centric design. You'll work with a team of UI/UX designers and developers to create a seamless user experience using Angular.

On our team, you'll hone your skills and learn how to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting, designing, modifying, developing, writing, or implementing software programming applications or enterprise applications using Agile methods

  • Experience with full stack development tools, including Spring Boot, Fetch and Promise core APIs, NodeJS, Angular, Jquery, Redux, jQuery, JSON, XML, and Linux or Bash

  • Experience with full stack engineering, cloud migration and technologies, including AWS ECS, EKS, ECR, SSM, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, WAF, Lambda, SQS, SNS, ALB, VPC, Certificate Manager, KMS, Firewall, IAM, RDS or Aurora, Elasticsearch, and Route53

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Search, general security (OIDC), networking, GitLab CI pipelines, Terraform, Nexus NxRM, Nexus Lifecycle, and SonarQube

  • Experience maintaining technical documentation and participating in technical briefs to leadership and clients

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
