Make your mark. Working on the Wealth Management Marketing Team is a great way to experience the alignment of marketing strategy, demand generation and marketing technologies. Serving as a member of our team, the Marketing Coordinator will execute campaign, content and event strategies across industry and service line verticals. In this highly collaborative role, you will be the point of contact for assigned campaigns and marketing programs, initiating the creation of content, event execution and activation, working with our cross-functional marketing team, internal stakeholders, and external partners to launch a variety of experiential, content, and digital tactics.

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for coordination and facilitation of task execution for a variety of marketing projects that result in successful completion of firm marketing strategies and programs.
  • Supports the implementation of multi-channel campaigns designed to engage and nurture audiences and drive demand in support of practice area/firm goals. Tracks success of marketing campaigns and makes recommendations for improving results in future campaigns.
  • Facilitates the distribution of digital communications, including setting up campaigns and marketing lists in CRM, securing approval of content and design from marketing team and relevant practice staff.
  • Takes a lead role in the maintenance of our CRM system and other marketing technologies and tracks success of marketing campaigns and online activities through them and in conjunction with other data sources. Work with digital marketing team to distribute electronic alerts, including setting up campaigns and marketing lists in CRM, securing approval of content and design from marketing consultant and relevant practice staff. Maintains expert level of knowledge in CRM and capable of training practice staff in appropriate use of systems to support practice development efforts and tracks data and analytical details.
  • Maintains the marketing and event calendar as well as sales enablement tools for assigned practice areas and communicates status to internal constituents.
  • Creates and edits content for marketing campaigns. Includes writing or editing promotional copy (ads, social, e-mail) as well as image selection.
  • Tracks and reports inbound and outbound sponsorship programs in support of growth goals and related costs.
  • Supports data analysis and reporting around campaigns, promotional response, attendee acquisition, webinar platform, etc.
  • Traffics workflows for marketing collateral and communications. Oversees edits, requested changes, and approvals.
  • Submits graphic workflows to the design team for marketing collateral and communications. Oversees edits, requested changes, and approvals. Coordinates distribution of materials to appropriate web pages, offices and individuals. Website maintenance: Implements requested changes and edits to website and works with web team on assigned projects.
  • Drafts social media, internal and external communications, and develops related technology workflows.
  • Builds relationships with the wealth management marketing team, broader marketing team, and internal constituents to help execute on marketing plan and programming using firm technologies and resources.
  • Traffics new work requests with team, coordinates with marketing team members to manage workflows in a timely fashion and multitasks on varying projects with varying deadlines.
  • Aids in tracking and communicating sales enablement efforts in conjunction with the marketing and wealth management teams including ongoing reporting requirements.
  • Traffics approvals on campaigns, projects and work with varying constituents including wealth management leaders and compliance.
  • Participates in team meetings, department meetings and wealth management meetings that vary in location some requiring travel and overnight stays.
  • Aids in coordinating, planning and implementation around assigned events and sponsorships - virtual or in-person. Organizing the production of branded items such as collateral materials and event signage. Maintains relationships with external partners/associations, acting as a point of contact for assigned practice areas. Negotiates sponsorship benefits, coordinates the activation and renewal of sponsorship programs, and key deliverables

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration or other related subject area.
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask multiple projects/tasks and re-prioritize as needed.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation software a plus.
  • Limited travel is required with this position.

We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience is provided in accordance with applicable state requirement. Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO or IL. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location.
