Who We Are

The Annex Teen Clinic provides sexual health care and education for young adults through age 25 in a friendly, non-judgmental, and comfortable atmosphere. Our services are low-cost, medically accurate, and developmentally appropriate. The Annex Teen Clinic has been providing services in Northwest Hennepin County and North Minneapolis since 1971.

Wages

$17 per hour

Benefits

Earned sick and safe time; ATC sponsors a retirement plan with a 3% employer contribution after one year of service.

Schedule

This is a temporary, part-time position that works Monday through Wednesday 8:30am-6pm and Friday 9:30am-2pm.

A Typical Day in the Life...

A typical day as a Patient Services Representative at the Annex provides an opportunity to serve as a community partner focused on sexuality education services, and will include the following:



  • Providing customer service to each patient visiting the clinic.
  • Checking patients in upon arrival; checking patients out upon departure.
  • Conducting patient experience surveys to help shape & improve Annex's services.
  • Helping patients to schedule appointments.
  • Providing customer service to incoming callers.


Who You Are



  • You have a background or education in STI testing and risk reduction (preferred).
  • You have some experience in a clinic setting (preferred).
  • You are bilingual (preferred).
  • To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about sexual healthcare.
  • Preferably, you have a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet Annex Teen Clinic's driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit.
