Purpose:

Provide management oversight for the Continuous Analysis Surveillance System (CASS). This includes development of program processes, execution of procedures, changes to the program as needed, providing guidance in accordance with regulations and other material to the staff and CASS board members. Chair the monthly CASS meeting by providing presentation of corrective actions recommendations and results of analysis. Position is responsible for providing feedback to upper management on staffing, tooling, training and other needs to maintain a robust CASS program.

This position also includes staffing for the Technical Operations Safety Assurance (TOSA) group. This position will provide management and guidance for the TOSA and assist in the interfacing with the Technical Operations group to provide Safety Assurance reports, analysis and risk analysis processes per the SMS rule.


Job Functions:

  • Develop and manage analytical and reporting tools that captures the data needed to measure, report findings and trending of qualifying hazard events, quality audit(s), investigation(s) and safety data for both the CASS and Safety Assurance functions
  • Provide reports on Safety Assurance audits
  • Maintain and continually develop data collection/input system for CASS through the use of the root cause analysis process.
  • Interfaces with maintenance, operational and reliability departments to determine root cause of system deficiencies of Maintenance and Inspection programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments for Technical Operations department
  • Other duties as assigned


Position Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year data analysis experience (e.g. - data reporting, statistical analysis, business intelligence gathering, trending and benchmarking, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Able to work independently


Preferred Job Skills:



  • Management experience
  • Knowledge of FAA programs and associated documents
  • Three years' experience in the maintenance of large aircraft
  • Airframe and Powerplant License


Physical Requirements:



  • Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
  • Comply with ATI attendance requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
