Security Technologies Manager

The Security Technologies Manager will lead and oversee the development of the security education material, build workflow processes using SharePoint, assist with the development of company security policies and procedures and implementing AI tools within the Security & Classified Operations organization to improve efficiency and quality of security operations.

Duties

  • Create, refine and maintain workflow processes in SharePoint for security functions
  • Maintain workflow libraries
  • Assigning and manage the development of communications, company policies and procedures in specific areas of security to improve transparency with the RAND staff
  • Work with manager and FSOs to develop, update and maintain the required Security education briefings and training materials
  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures within the security organization and develop a rollout plan to the RAND Staff
  • Maintain annual review schedule of policy and procedure reviews and updates
  • Create automated monthly metric reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects

Basic Qualifications

  • Expert computer Skills using Microsoft products
  • In-Depth knowledge of SharePoint and SharePoint programming
  • In-depth knowledge of AI capabilities
  • Ability to build SharePoint workflows and processes
  • Must have technical writing skills. Ability to communicate openly and professionally
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Program Management Experience or PMP Preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

With a bachelor's degree, at least 8 years of relevant experience required. Without a bachelor's degree, at least 12 years of relevant experience required.

Security Clearance

Must meet eligibility requirements for access to U.S.government classified information.

Location

Santa Monica, Washington D.C., or Pittsburgh

Salary Range: $102,800 - $156,500

RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate's work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity.The salary range includes base pay plus RAND's sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
