Description

TRISTAR is seeking a Analyst, Operations II (Temporary) for our government customer in Crane, IN

  • The Analyst, Operations II (Temporary) shall participate in the monitoring and resolution of Fleet CASREPs (WXMY), other requests for technical assistance by MEWSD customers (TYCOMs, IWS 2, individual ship requests, etc.), and in the daily MEWSD Fleet Support Team meetings by providing technical expertise
  • Shall track the daily status report of open CASREPs provided by the Government Fleet Support Cell (FSC)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Engineering efforts include the following:
  • EnCASREP Tracking
  • Data Analysis
  • Responsible for MFOM (Maintenance Figure of Merit) and NRRE-BI (Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise Business intelligence) data pulls
  • Assist Distance Support Center Help Desk with answering/directing phone calls during Eastern Time core hours (0600-1800), capturing data, reading from FAQ's
  • Review CASREP Reports, input CASREP data into FASTR and Power Point slide decks
  • CASREP part status using OneTouch, Haystack and IPDM. Also work with other branches for parts support
  • Attend daily Fireside meetings. These meetings allow us to connect with our coastal and global Crane representatives and identify current workload requirements, issues they are facing, and determine if they need assistance in finding solutions to problems in the field
  • Assist with communication from the Fleet to internal stakeholders through phone, email, and chat surfer on NIPR and SIPR
  • Assist with CASREP parts Deconfliction with PMO, TYCOM, and Ship's Forces. Collaborate with RMCs, TYCOMs and ISEA to resolve parts issues, trouble call follow-up, or other fleet maintenance issues
  • Update stoplight chart content including parts, Casualty Report (CASREP), status, and improvements that are sent out to Division Managers and Program Office

Education and Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree a plus
