Description The purpose of this role is to introduce an aspiring lender to commercial banking and develop them into a commercial banker with a commercial book of business. Support commercial bankers during the due diligence and underwriting process. Assists in interviewing commercial loan applicants and reviewing applicants' information. Processes loan applications, maintains customer relationships including related consumer loan and deposits. Below is a list of essential job functions. PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICE Continually meet client and coworker expectations and established goals and objectives by serving clients and coworkers under the guidelines of Bank service standards. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE To perform this job optimally, an individual is required to perform each crucial job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university: or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination and experience. A background screening will be conducted. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn core transaction systems, and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Knowledge in reading and interpreting financial documents required. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve meaningful problems involving several variables in a standardized situation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
