A New Drug Application for tenapanor for hyperphosphatemia has been submitted in China with Fosun Pharma. Knight Therapeutics commercializes IBSRELA in Canada.
Manager, Advanced Data Analytics
As the Manager, Advanced Data Analytics, the successful candidate will be leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI techniques to extract insights from complex commercial datasets. The incumbent's primary goal will be translating these insights into actionable strategies that optimize commercial execution across both brands. Your expertise in generative AI will be crucial for identifying and exploring new opportunities, driving innovation, and advancing Ardelyx's commercial operations and boosting sales performance.

Responsibilities
  • Apply machine learning techniques, including deep learning and generative AI, to analyze diverse datasets (structured and unstructured) and generate actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to Commercial stakeholders through clear, compelling visualizations, presentations, and reports.
  • Develop advanced algorithms to solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner.
  • Execute and manage projects demanding the application of advanced analytics techniques (e.g., descriptive/inferential statistics, machine learning, NLP, and Neural Networks) on large, unstructured data sets to identify key actionable insights.
Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics), or Ph.D. preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
  • Experience working with Komodo/IQVIA/PurpleLab patient claims data.
  • Strong proficiency in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data manipulation using Python, R, or similar state-of-the-art tools.
  • Experience with generative AI development and associated techniques, such as GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), VAEs (Variational Autoencoders), and RL (Reinforcement Learning), preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
The anticipated annualized base pay range for this full-time position is $125,730 - $153,670. Ardelyx utilizes industry data to ensure that our compensation is competitive and aligned with our industry peers. Actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target and equity awards, subject to eligibility and other requirements.
Ardelyx also offers a robust benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with generous employer match, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, up to 12 weeks of living organ and bone marrow leave, equity incentive plans, health plans (medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision),life insurance and disability, flexible time off, annual Winter Holiday shut down, and at least 11 paid holidays.
