Job Title: Pricing Specialist
Normally Reports to: Director of Pricing
Job Objective: Execute best-in-class pricing platform by implementing the strategic pricing initiatives of RelaDyne to optimize margins. Own and manage the pricing data in RelaDyne's systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.
Ensure timely processing and response for approved CPQs (Configure, Price, Quote):
- Import and maintain pricing data, including standard prices, costs, and customer-specific pricing, across all branches.
- Provide CPQ training and ongoing refresher sessions for new hires and current staff in sales and operations.
- Support Sales Representatives with CPQ system usage and troubleshooting.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies within the CPQ system.
- Audit Manual Sales Overrides (MSOs) and ensure compliance with policies.
- Manage recommendations and updates for account price levels and pricing strategies.
- Manage and process fee requests and associated uploads for the pricing team.
- Collaborate with the Shared Purchasing organization to maintain accurate standard costs.
- Negotiate and approve CPQ quote requests within variance thresholds; escalate complex cases as needed.
- Identify and manage fileback opportunities and oversee rebate automation, including Chevron C2 Rebate # fields.
- Assist in implementing market adjustments, large-scale pricing changes, and Fileback credit submissions for suppliers.
- Audit and ensure compliance with automated customer fee assessments; optimize automated fees for new acquisitions.
- Create, update, and import standard pricing and cost structures, including price levels, customer-specific pricing (CSPs), customer contract prices (CCPs), filebacks, and daily fuel tables.
- Facilitate the integration of pricing data into DM2 for new acquisitions and maintain strategic price levels and price code files.
- Conduct data cleanup for obsolete pricing records and analyze pricing data as requested.
- Respond to branch and sales team requests for pricing data, batch reviews, customer and sales rep reports.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience running pricing analysis/analytics
- Strong written communication skills

- Previous experience working with and analyzing numbers
- Ability to handle stress successfully
- MS office proficiency required (Word/Excel)
- DM2/SAP proficiency preferred

- Feedback from GM, VP Sales and Marketing, and other sales leaders
- Cost-To-Serve, Contribution Margin, & Incremental Margin
