Quality Inspector

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our quality assurance team! In this role you will play an important role by ensuring that our circuit cards, electronic components, and electro-mechanical components are manufactured correctly and functioning properly. This role helps to reduce failures and delays as we build displays, onboard computing, and communication solutions that make flying safer.

This on-site position is located at our headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. The working hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. You will report directly to the Manager, Quality & Continuous Improvement.

How You Will Do It:

• Inspect circuit cards and electronic and electro-mechanical components per drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
• Prepare and upload results of test and inspection.
• Utilize our ERP system.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Perform other various types of inspection as required.

What We Look For:

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to understand written work instructions and drawings.
• Familiarity with the MS Office Suite (Word and Excel).
• Must be able to use the microscope for extended periods of time.
• Must successfully pass Astronautics 1-week Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies training class.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• The ability to successfully complete a vision test.
• The ability to lift up to 35 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods of time.

Desired

• Electronics assembly experience.
• Two years or more of relevant inspection experience.
