Job Description:The Program Manager is a leadership "staff" position serving a key role in facilitating activities related to quality improvement and quality assurance within the acute care hospitals. The Program Manager works under the direction of the Director of Quality and Patient Safety and collaborates closely with Quality Management colleagues as well as operational leaders, nursing, physicians, and staff to support quality improvement. The position is a highly visible, energetic champion of quality and continuous performance improvement; focuses on opportunities to continually improve the safety, effectiveness, equity, and timeliness of health care services to patients.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Health Care Related Field or Human Services - required

  • Master's Degree - preferred

Experience:

  • 3 years Quality Improvement - Required

  • 3 years Healthcare - Required

  • 2 years project management - Preferred

  • Acute Care Healthcare - Preferred

Certifications/Licensures:

  • CPHQ Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality - NAHQ National Association for Healthcare Quality- Preferred

  • Lean Certified - Preferred

  • PMP Project Management Professional - PMI Project Management Institute - Preferred

Skills:

  • Knowledge of performance improvement principles, theories, and practices (Lean, Six Sigma, IHI, etc.)

  • Project management & facilitation skills.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to listen, problem-solve and develop strong interpersonal relationships with others.

  • Ability to develop effective, team-oriented working relationships with physicians, nurses and/or other health professionals.

  • A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict timelines is required.

  • Excellent leadership attributes including positive, can-do attitude, creativity and enthusiasm.

  • Strong verbal presentation skills

  • Strong writing skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).

Work Shift:Exempt Salaried (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$120,423.00 - $180,635.00 Salary
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
