Warehouse Supervisor Essential Functions Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal Plans, organizes, and participates in daily warehouse operations and activities Receives, unpacks, packs, loads, issues, stores, and delivers materials, supplies, or equipment Prepares and maintains a variety of records and logs and prepares reports as required Operates and demonstrates the use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; ensures proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment Observes health and safety regulations; maintains a warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition Assists management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures Oversees warehousing and stock control methods and procedures Operates the forklift and other assigned vehicles and equipment Consistent and reliable on-site attendance Performs other duties as assigned Warehouse Supervisor Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Three (3) years of warehouse or related experience with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology Exhibits proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies Understands record-keeping techniques, inventory methods, and practices Exceptional Interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills Adept at organizing, planning, and task completion to manage a high volume of department paperwork Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications Warehouse Supervisor Physical Requirements Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold andwet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors Physically able to mount and dismount equipment continuously throughout the day Adheres to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintains individual PPE infunctional condition This position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
