Senior Engineer/Analyst

Overview

SCCI is currently seeking a Senior Engineer/Analyst to join our team in support of the Surface Combat Systems Training Center (SCSTC) and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). In this position you will support MDA with Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) development. This position is available for immediate hire and located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures support for Aegis BMD baselines 4.x, 5.x, 6.x and 9.x
• Provide Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in support of Focused Fleet Feedback and Warfighter Engagements
• Provide updates to the BMD Staff Guide, as required
• Provide Capability Tactical Guidance

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
• High School Diploma
• Four (4) years of combat system shipboard experience on board an AEGIS platform including (2) deployments as a CIC watch-stander
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to write clear, logically sequenced, and grammatically correct documents
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Have attention to detail, care about the quality of work, and a drive for results
• Must have organizational, task tracking, and follow-up skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Three (3) years of experience with the Aegis Combat System Development to include design, development, test and evaluation, lifetime support maintenance, configuration management, and tactical training
