The Opportunity: Driving better future mobility VS (Vehicle component Solutions) Company (https://www.lg.com/global/mobility) of LG Electronics focuses on commercializing environmentally responsible automotive components and core solutions based on LG's proprietary technologies. A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry. As the Validation Engineer, you will: Perform validation for infotainment products by utilizing test benches and vehicles Responsible for executing basic Sanity, customer found issues, updated specification from customer and Full test cases for assigned sections Analyze test results to determine if product meet specifications Create/maintain test cases per product specifications Utilize tracking system to report and track product defects Test bench setup / SW updates Vehicle variant SW coding (adaptation) and/or Diagnosis for car status analysis Field Test / Joint field test with OEM OEM Support (frequent visiting, fixing damaged OEM's HU by update tools, SW status drive) Maintain relationships with overseas counterparts to effectively share information and resolve issues Support to resolve technical issues Support and communicate with R&D team, not only in North America but other regions such as Korea Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent Ability to travel (Domestic & International) Knowledge of: Test bench and vehicle setup In-car infotainment systems technologies Specifications and ability to analyze test results Process on how to create test cases with the appropriate test case structure How to interface with the bug tracking system Vehicle communication protocols Ability to: Learn and adapt to new software and hardware tools and technologies Work across multiple disciplines (systems, embedded, server, wireless carriers, testing) Recognize and mitigate both technical and organizational challenges Desire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail Excellent written and oral communication skills Recruiting Range $63,472 - $84,630 USD Benefits Offered Full-Time Employees: No-cost employee premiums for you and your eligible dependents for competitive medical, dental, vision and prescription benefits.
