Main Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automation systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation of production processes. This role is critical in driving operational excellence and ensuring consistent product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and implement automated solutions focused on process control, labor reduction, and quality compliance
- Standardize automation and vision solutions utilizing approved vendors
- Creation and management of IQMS controlled documentation covering safety and operating procedures on automation systems
- Work with scheduling to perform projects efficiently, minimizing downtime and interruption
- Source and manage vendor/contractor activities including part and service purchases
- Manage W/O activity to closure utilizing IQMS
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of production and infrastructure equipment when required
- Adherence to ISO procedures and company safety procedures

Compensation:
$28.93 - $29.00
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in automation and maintenance supporting an injection molding environment preferred
- Experience in an ISO environment preferred
- Experience with PLC's, automation, and vision systems preferred
- Documented hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical credentials preferred
