Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of electrical engineers.
    • Define and implement electrical engineering strategies and best practices.
    • Oversee the design, development, and testing of complex electrical systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Systems Architecture:
    • Develop and maintain system architectures for complex electrical systems.
    • Identify and evaluate system requirements, constraints, and trade-offs.
    • Design and optimize system components and interfaces.
    • Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage and execute electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
    • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of electrical engineers.
    • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Encourage innovation and creativity within the team.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in electrical engineering.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, including 5+ years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in systems architecture and design.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, power electronics, and digital signal processing.
  • Experience with industry-standard design tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Cubic Pay Range:

$125,218 - 172,000 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
