Inside the Role

The Quality and Administrative Operations Manager is a pivotal leadership role within the Canton Product Distribution Center (PDC). This position oversees the quality assurance team and centralized administrative operations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all processes. Reporting to the PDC Manager, this role integrates quality protocols with clerical operations to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and streamlined workflows.

Position offers a starting salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

Quality Assurance:

  • Lead and manage the quality assurance team to uphold product and process standards.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures for inbound and outbound operations.

  • Conduct root cause analyses for quality issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory mandates.

Administrative Operations:

  • Supervise centralized office functions, including clerical operations for EWM and DView systems.

  • Oversee office personnel responsible for receiving, shipping, and inventory discrepancy processes.

  • Ensure alignment of administrative tasks with operational goals and timelines.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide direct supervision to quality supervisors and centralized office team leads.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs to develop team members.

Customer and Inventory Support:

  • Manage customer returns and ensure timely resolution of related issues.

  • Oversee the investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies.

  • Partner with operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and system alignment.

Process Improvement:

  • Leverage data and KPIs to identify trends, drive efficiency, and enhance team performance.

  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality and administrative operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality and clerical workflows with facility objectives.

Core Functions:

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain product and service quality across all operations.

  • Administrative Oversight: Ensure efficiency and accuracy in all clerical processes.

  • Team Leadership: Build and maintain a high-performing team.

  • Customer and Inventory Support: Address customer concerns and maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Process Optimization: Implement improvements to enhance operational excellence.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct regular audits of quality processes and clerical operations.

  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and address operational challenges.

  • Ensure team adherence to safety standards and company policies.

  • Coordinate with IT for system-related challenges (e.g., EWM/DView).

  • Investigate escalated customer complaints and implement solutions.

  • Monitor team productivity and adjust workflows as needed.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in quality assurance, inventory management, or clerical operations within a distribution or logistics environment.

    • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced setting.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., EWM, DView) and inventory management practices.

    • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

    • Ability to drive process improvements and manage cross-functional collaboration.

An Exceptional Candidate Might Have

  • Advanced certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO Auditor).

  • Extensive experience with complex WMS platforms beyond EWM and DView.

  • Proven success in implementing large-scale process improvements.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex customer or inventory challenges.

  • Strong background in data analysis and decision-making through advanced KPIs.

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a multi-site logistics environment.
