Job Description
  • Candidate should be able to follow complex PM procedures on various iline, DUV, Trk, scrubber - Photo Equipment - per specific PM Check sheets, and produce results in a timely manner.
  • Be able to perform complex machinery root cause analysis - show an organized methodology from root cause to solution for various complex problems.
  • Able to develop his/her own resources to solve problems and provide imaginative solutions to a broad range of difficult problems producing significant results.
  • Participate in activities to develop/improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems. Evaluate recurring equipment failures and suggest corrective measures to existing PM procedures, check sheets to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in various overlay, SEM, in-line and thin film/other metrology recoveries when needed
  • Participate on various Photo Equipment/Process and Metrology problem solving teams.
  • Collect equipment-specific performance data and work with Engineering to develop and implement solutions to equipment-specific failures based on collected Pareto data, and tool deficiencies.
  • Provide technical equipment-specific training to lower-level technicians.
  • Interface with vendor support to resolve equipment related failures.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair malfunctioning equipment to component level (diagnostic to component level), as needed.
  • Exhibit proper judgment when resolving problems and carrying out assignments and making recommendations.
  • Participate and lead/direct ERT/Safety events, during the absence of supervision.
  • Ensure all 'consumable parts' are on order and/or in stores and follow up as required to minimize equipment MTTR.
  • Requires minimal management supervision to perform daily routines.

You have demonstrated working knowledge of advanced electro-mechanical systems operations and maintenance and be able to work with minimal or no assistance.
Possess adequate knowledge of basic electronic, vacuum and pneumatics theory, principles of electrical circuits, motor control systems and test procedures and the ability to troubleshoot to component level.

Job Requirements
  • 5+ years technical maintenance experience in the semiconductor industry - specifically, with Photo lithography tools set maintenance and metrology.
  • Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Electronics or equivalent.
