We are thrilled to bring an Engineer I onto the Enbridge Gas Ohio Team!

Enbridge Gas Ohio Project Prioritization Team (PPT) is looking for an Engineer I to support planning, operations, design, and construction on capital projects. The engineer will be expected to perform engineering calculations, analysis, research and design. Under direction of supervisor perform routine assignments designed to develop engineering work knowledge, gain familiarity with company, systems, techniques and practices. #joinourteam #topemployer

• Evaluate and determine scope of pipeline and station projects and cost estimates. Evaluate pipeline infrastructure using specialized tools and data/records research to assess the physical condition. Additional projects may include storage enhancement, revenue generation, integrity management, and maintenance projects related to EGO's transmission, storage and gathering assets.

• Ensure EGO's capital dollars are allocated to the highest priority, most critical project within the state of Ohio. Review and analyze electronic data associated with risk, assets, GIS, and compliance systems to evaluate, select, and scope infrastructure projects. Achieve capital goals through the use of long- and short-term detailed plans that balance the needs of the organization and its' financial targets.

• Working closely with Rates, Financial and Business Services, Distribution and Transmission design teams regarding various company-wide programs. Building relationships with internal partners and external entities.

• Participate in the development and tracking of monthly and annual capital spend forecasts.

You have:

• 4-year engineering degree from an ABET accredited Engineering program based on the year that the Engineering program, was accredited by ABET.

• Basic knowledge and application of engineering theories and principles, concepts, and fundamentals.

• Planning and organization skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work with multiple project teams simultaneously.

• Decision making skills.

• Oral and written communication skills,

• Strong Excel reporting skills.

• Analytical and abstract thinking skills.

Able to think analytically and solve problems.

Able to process information quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks.

Effective working independently or in a team environment.

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
