Work Shift:

8hr-1st Shift (United States of America) The administrative assistant will assist with administrative tasks, assist in functions related to scheduling, procurement, customer service, and shipping.

Essential Job Functions and Qualifications

  • Respond to customer inquiries by telephone or e-mail to provide problem resolution.
  • Resolve routine and basic problems and communicates solution or requested information to the customer.
  • Analyze a customer's service needs and refer to other service or technical departments for follow up as needed.
  • Utilize a customer relationship application or database to record activities and research product information.
  • Order entry & maintenance
  • Shipping verification
  • Pricing verification
  • Assist with customer inventory management
  • Mail marketing information (brochures)
  • Generate and distribute customer-required reports (inventory, volume, etc.)
  • Assist with Credit Memos when needed
  • Maintain customer files
  • Manage logistics of deliveries with carrier vendors

    Required:

    • At least 2 years previous experience within a manufacturing environment with admin duties
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Attention to detail and well organized is a must.
    • Literacy in English as well as strong editing abilities.
    • Ability to follow through with documentation.
    • Fantastic interpersonal skills! Communication is KEY to success in this job!

    Preferred:

    • Ability to adapt as workloads can fluctuate by season.
    • Strong general administrative skills.
    • Excellent time management skills.
