NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the VP, Landmark Investment Center. The Landmark Investment Center (LIC) works with members to providing advice, strategies, and investment solutions. This position provides administrative and operational support to the LIC Financial Advisors. Responsible for assistance and coordination of all activities related to member service, scheduling, processing of paperwork and facilitation of business development events. This position will have direct contact with members, salespersons and other professionals.
REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma and a minimum of three years of experience supporting Financial Advisors and clients the investment management industry. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
2. Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
3. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
4. Must have a thorough understanding of industry policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with all job related state and federal laws and regulations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Responsible for member onboarding coordination, including assisting with proposal generation, preparing new account paperwork, opening accounts, transitioning new assets to the Landmark Investment Center and establishing a member communication plan.
2. Initiates and completes all transactions required to service member accounts including paperwork, correspondence and member request fulfillment.
3. Enter security orders including stocks, bonds, fixed income, options, annuities, and other investment vehicle orders per Financial Advisors' instructions.
4. Monitors pending account paperwork with LPL and fund/insurance companies.
5. Proactively review and identify investment opportunities notifying Financial Advisor(s) to take action on those opportunities. This may include funds available/money line, maturing securities and previous days' activities.
6. Understand and ensure compliance with credit union and financial industry regulatory policies.
7. Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for Financial Advisor(s), utilizing the system to manage the member relationships through mailings, reporting, e-mail tracking, etc.
8. Organize and coordinate seminars and member events at the direction of Financial Advisor(s). Creates member lists and material/content, coordinates PowerPoint presentations and follows up with member contacts.
9. Answers phone calls and schedules member appointments.
10. Provide back-up for the team, when necessary and complete special projects as necessary.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
