Location: University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm Approximately. Occasional Evenings and Weekends. Job Summary We are seeking a Full-Time, Onsite Campus Registered Dietitian to join our Chartwells Food Service Team at University of Toledo in Toledo, OH! The university is home to over 11,000 students and 14 dining locations. Toledo is a metropolitan city with art museums, minor league baseball and 19 parks and trails. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling to any student or staff member on campus Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, teaching kitchens, etc. Implements Chartwells Higher Education wellness programming Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts - partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces Operational execution and oversight - hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs Qualifications: Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or RD Eligible (RDE) Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable Ability to present information in one-on-one as well group format Experience working with special diets and food allergies strongly preferred Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract managed services experience desirable ServSafe Manager certified a plus Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs Apply to Chartwells Higher Education today!
