Provide RapidCare and Power Equipment financial leadership and counsel by supplying meaningful analysis and articulating choices relative to current performance, projected business plans, and other discrete projects. Key to this delivery is cultivating a cross-functional network and developing a deep understanding of the business Provide thought leadership and sound business management to recommend courses of action to achieve goals Act as a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities to ensure sound analyses and recommendations across a wide range of business decisions that may include market growth, innovation, go-to-market strategies, and investments Embrace and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset to improve the quality and productivity of the team Ensure the application of internal controls via effective communication, implementation, and review of control procedures Assist in the month-end close process including journal entries and account reconciliations Proactively bring forward insights and ideas Drive and lead things that matter across the business Transfer knowledge through effective communication, training, and documentation (Standard Work) Demonstrate a commitment to Ariens Company Core Values: Be Honest, Be Fair, Keep Our Commitments, Respect the Individual, and Encourage Intellectual Curiosity Other duties as needed
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (B.S.) from an accredited institution A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting/financial analysis experience Demonstrated ability in providing and interpreting financial information An understanding of U.S. GAAP required High level of proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Office is required; a command of pivot table use within Excel is valuable and desired Knowledge of financial reporting (Analysis of Change, Price/Mix) Knowledge of NPV, IRR, discounted cash flow and capital payback analysis
