  • Fidelity Technologies is seeking skilled technicians for our MH-60R flight simulator maintenance team. Location: Mayport, Florida. Simulation is a rewarding career that promotes attainment of a vast array of skill-sets that would typically require multiple positions over the course of one's career. The MH-60R Simulator Technician is responsible for the overall condition/functionality of training devices ranging from presentability and customer service, to repair and calibration of flight control systems, visual display systems, PLC controlled motion base actuators, LANs/VLANS, I/O networks, video switchers, and implementing IA security measures.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily simulator set-up and support to facilitate pilot and aircrew training environments with varying ranges of complexity. Keen attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be able to perform under pressure while still exhibiting the utmost professionalism and customer service.
  • Must exhibit high performance and capability to work in a team environment to solve problems requiring a strong understanding of computer architecture, computer networks, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
  • Assist direct supervisor with diagnosing and isolating malfunctions in electronic systems; including but not limited to: aligning, adjusting and calibrating systems on training devices. Must be able to clearly interpret mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic schematics. Using limited available resources, be able to diagnose and resolve discrepancies not covered in manufacture literature.
  • Must be able to perform routine preventive maintenance using maintenance requirement cards and instructional manuals; perform daily system readiness test, pre-operational and post-operational checkouts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience/Knowledge of H60 Flight and Mission systems is an advantage
  • Must be willing to work all shifts as necessary but rarely weekends.
  • Position typically does not involve travel.



Required Qualifications:

  • Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and retain a minimum of a SECRET clearance for access to classified information. Current clearance is preferred.
  • Requires an Information Assurance (IA) certification of "CompTIA A+" as the minimum requirement; a "CompTIA Security+" is desired. Selected applicants who are not currently certified are required to obtain minimum required IA certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum experience shall include two (2) years in equivalent or related field.
  • The applicant must be a US citizen.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.



Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into a simulator or airplane cockpit.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top or under the training device.
  • Must be able to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the functioning of simulators and its surrounding environment.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
