The Benefits of Working at GHC-SCW. The Registered Nurse (RN) Team Coordinator serves as a lead clinical resource within the ambulatory clinic or specialty clinic through the provision of excellent ambulatory nursing care with a patient centered approach to all interactions. The RN Team Coordinator is responsible for providing supervision and leadership to patient care team staff in the Patient Care Services Department. The RN Team Coordinator possesses strong clinical, leadership, education, and advocacy skills. The RN Team Coordinator has responsibility for the day-to-day operations of a patient care team and for working collaboratively with the other team coordinators and Clinic Managers at their respective clinic sites. The RN Team Coordinator functions as a resource person for nursing staff regarding clinic operations issues. Additionally, the RN Team Coordinator functions in various clinical roles, providing telephone triage, patient education, direct patient care, anticipatory guidance, care coordination, and evaluation of nursing staff performance. The incumbent works under the guidance and supervision of the Clinic Manager. Provider staff may delegate activities to a Registered Nurse within the licensing and RN scope of practice within the State of Wisconsin. NOTE: This position is regularly exposed to blood borne pathogens, diseases, and cleaning/sterilization solutions. Job Specific Minimum Qualifications
