OTE: $225,000. - $250,000.00 On
target earnings include all cash components of car allowance, year end bonus,
commission, and base salary.

Responsible for all sales activities within the assigned territory(region) through direct sales efforts as well as management of a hybrid sales force consisting of direct management of RWMIC sales team employees and indirect management of Independent Sales Agents (ISAs).

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishes territory (region) quotas and assesses contract partners and employees performance. Recommends contract termination as applicable.
  • Manages the selection and training of suitable contract partners and employees
  • Serves as corporate liaison for collaboration with contracted ISAs including identification of suitable businesses, contract discussions, training, coordination of sales activities and monitoring of contractual sales goals. Also monitors contract compliance up to and including termination of contract.
  • Conducts daily sales business including evaluation in hospitals and doctor visits, in the absence of an employee or ISA in the territory (region).
  • Provides key customer support to customers as required
  • Provides strategic input into product pricing and promotions; assists with the creation and implementation of strategic sales measures.
  • Creates regional, territory and account sales/competitive analysis and submits monthly reports to the Corporate Director of Sales.
  • Works with the Marketing team to identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with key physicians (KOLs).
  • Collaborates with the National Accounts Manager as needed for sales related activities, and achievement of specific goals in regard to national Group Purchasing Organizations (G.P.O.) as assigned by the Corporate Director of Sales.
  • Targets and converts desirable regional Integrated Health Networks (I.H.N.) with the assistance of the territory (region) sales team employees or ISAs, with the goal of increasing market share.
  • Coordinates contract processing with the assistance of the National Accounts Manager. Has standard discounting authority, must adhere to the contract process protocol.
  • Personnel duties include hiring, performance management, training and career development.
  • Coordinates attendance of applicable RWMIC employees at key national, regional and local conventions & workshops.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as liaison between corporate office and the field
  • Travels within the territory(region) a minimum of 60% of the time
  • Participates in the development of annual sales and marketing strategic planning
  • Assists the Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing with sales utilization and territory potential analysis.
  • Maintains all customer required vendor credentials (example: Vendormate, Reptrax)
  • Aware of and comply with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned by Corporate Director of Sales

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. or B.A. in related field required
  • 5 years of experience in medical sales management preferred
  • Experience with endoscopic surgery products preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize workloads, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate PC skills and familiarity with all MS Office suite products
  • Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
