Job Overview

The Technical Quote Specialist will act as a conduit between our Surgical Workflow Infection Control (SWIC) sales team and the technical team to ensure that all information necessary to produce a quote is collected and an accurate quote can be created in a timely manner. This position will be responsible for completing technically accurate quotes that can be sent to and approved by the Technical Specialist team. The Technical Quote Specialist will also assist with other technical projects including but not limited to, ensuring products, structure, and technical accuracy of the quoting catalog are maintained.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Effectively manage and prioritize daily workload to ensure quotes are completed correct and timely, in order of project demand.
• Collect technical information from the field SWIC Sales Team relevant to the product that must be quoted.
• Create technically accurate quotes in a timely manner.
• Prioritize projects based on the information provided.
• Communicate quoting issues with the SWIC Sales Team for correction.
• Interpret customer and field sales inputs to generate the best product possible for the facility's needs.
• Work with the Technical Specialist team to provide accurate revisions of quotes in a timely manner.
• Work with Commercial Operations and the Technical Specialists to maintain the GForce sales catalog and ensure it contains necessary parts and is technically accurate.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent (i.e., military training program), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated hands-on field experience, including ability to apply technical expertise and make judgments regarding systems and equipment of considerable complexity.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude including knowledge of schematic and other technical drawings.
• Working knowledge and understating of AutoCAD and Salesforce or equivalent CRM platform.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, diagnostic skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints and installation drawings.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision.
• Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Salary range: $85-95k annually DOE
