General Description
Collect field survey data, produce survey drawings and coordinate stakeouts for utility locates. Works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings. Reviews proposed plats for compliance with State and County regulations
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires six (6) years progressive experience in surveying.
Special Certifications and Licenses
Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper's license.
Preferences
AS degree relating to surveying/mapping
BS degree relating to surveying/mapping
Mapping Surveying equipment certification
2+ years experience using transits, theodolytestotal station, digital or mapping gear
2+ years experience doing water based depth soundings with Multibeam technology
5+ years experience surveying and writing legal descriptions
2+ years using Carlson surveying equipment and software (or equivalent)
2+ years using Hypack software (or equivalent)
Certified Hydrographer
Current US Coast Guard License to operate a commercial vessel
