Senior Technician, FleetConnect

The Senior Service Technicianis essential to World Fuel Services (WFS) in order to deploy the FleetConnect system for fleet fueling customers. As more customers come on line this will become an even larger business component of WFS services as we integrate into Land and Marine, leading to more fuel contracts.As the exclusive national distributor for airport operations, and now global distributor for Land and Marine as well, we will be responsible for sales and service of this product.

Minimum of 10 years of petroleum equipment technician experience required

Major Responsibilities:

  • Role requires working independently with minimal oversite, requires making decisions pertaining to onsite installation of FleetConnect/FlightConnect systems
  • Position covers national customer base with International implications
  • Solves complex technical issues and high level of face to face engagement with customer stakeholders on site at customer locations
  • Implement software upgrades at trucks and pedestals
  • Provide onsite training for customer
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise
  • Develop and maintain relationships with each customer site
  • Provide 24/7/365 support, in partnership with the Sr Service Technician

Other Responsibilities:

  • Research new installations for meter register compatibility
  • Coordinate gathering of equipment data for programming Monitor FRID Tag selection and programming
  • Manage transfer of data (memory stick and cellular) to initiate systems
  • Assist in developing effective back office spreadsheets
  • Survey and monitor customer satisfaction
  • Repair Returned parts
  • Provide quality control and testing of equipment

Education - High School education or Technical School - Service Tech

4 year college degree preferred but not required

Language - English for both but Spanish would be helpful for both as well

Certifications - OSHA safety certification highly desired

Work Experience - Ten years required

Pay - $80k - $110k, plus bonus and benefits
