Job Summary: Responsible for the management of Government and customer furnished property across multiple sites. Directs subordinate personnel in the routine processes used to manage property. Ensures compliance to all Government regulations relating to Government property. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. This is an on-site position, 9/80 work schedule.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages an approved Government Property System for all relevant Cubic sites
  • Acts as principal point of contact for government property matters
  • Coordinates Government and customer property audits.
  • Investigates and resolves issues resulting from government and customer audits.
  • Meets the requirements of government contracts.
  • Monitors company compliance with law and regulation governing government property.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate property acquisition, consumption, inventory and retirement records.
  • Schedules and coordinates required inventories and audits.
  • Reviews and certifies property closeout records.
  • Manages government property stores including receipt, stowage and issuance of property to appropriate end users.
  • Reviews and approves government shipping documents.
  • Ensures compliance to management schedules and property turnaround time
  • Maintains department process documentation.
  • Produces department training material.
  • Trains department personnel and other department's personnel in the handling of government property.
  • Mentors department personnel in preparation for obtaining property certifications
  • Administers and maintains the integrity of the asset management database
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and works with Cubic employees and customers to implement improvements.
  • Produces department metrics to measure aging and performance.
  • Travel 10-20%.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Four year college degree in business or a technical field plus a minimum of eight years experience in government property administration. Must be a US citizen, eligible for DoD Secret Clearance. Extensive knowledge of FAR Part 45, Government Property. Professional membership and certification in the NPMA, National Property Management Association preferred. Experience using an asset management database is essential. Experience using Microsoft office suite.

Cubic Pay Range:

$90,000 - $135,477 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
