We have a Staff Accountant position in Eden Prairie, MN. This position is responsible for general ledger accounting and monthly reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions have been properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the general ledger. Primary Purpose This position is responsible for general ledger accounting and monthly reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions have been properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the general ledger. This person is also responsible for accounting reports and reconciliations related to accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, deferrals, expenses, deductions, sales and payroll taxes, compensation, and other payroll functions as they relate to the general ledger. Minimum Requirements Education Bachelors degree in Accounting is required with a minimum of three to five years of experience. Experience This position requires experience in data entry, payroll, general accounting principles, knowledge of the general ledger and how it relates to other journals, and project accounting experience is preferred. Multi-company, multi-state sales tax and payroll experience also preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite expected with Excel proficiency required. Physical Demands of Position Ability to see, hear, and listen with the use of dexterity in hands for clerical duties within the job.
