PURPOSE OF THE ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Scheduling and Planning Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Quality Control Cost Management Apprentice Training Communication Systems, Processes, and Tools #LI-JS4 Educational Background: Journeyperson electrician certification or equivalent qualifications, combined with extensive field experience in electrical construction.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, foster collaboration, and achieve project objectives. Experience managing teams on large-scale construction projects is essential. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and relevant codes and standards. Experience with high-voltage systems is an asset. Project Management: Proficient in planning, scheduling, and coordinating electrical work within complex projects. Familiarity with project management software is advantageous. Safety Commitment: Thorough understanding of workplace safety regulations and experience implementing effective safety programs on construction sites. Quality Assurance: Expertise in monitoring and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interface effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding solutions. Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic environments, manage competing priorities, and thrive under pressure.
