Description

The Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records. There are multiple shifts available (Monday - Friday).

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00/hr. (based on experience, education, skills, # of OEM certifications, etc.)

Shift: 2nd shifts are available (Monday - Friday)

Shift Premium: Any hours worked/work performed Monday - Friday, 5:00 p.m. - 5:59 a.m. and/or any hours worked on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) will be paid a shift differential of 15% of your base wage.

  • Complete Repairs with Accuracy: Perform diagnostic tests, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines and components, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Meet Deadlines: Adhere to scheduled maintenance and repair timelines to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure customers' needs are met promptly.
  • Follow Compliance Standards: Ensure all repairs comply with federal and state vehicle safety regulations, ensuring adherence to combustion control and emissions standards.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair or heavy-duty truck maintenance preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred, or ability to obtain.
  • Dependable and reliable attendance required.
