V3 Sports is a nonprofit located in vibrant North Minneapolis, focused on elevating our community through wellness, fitness, and education! Thanks to our amazing partners, donors, and incredible community members, we have been making waves in Minneapolis, serving over a thousand families since 2007.

Founded as a non-profit in 2007, the mission of V3 Sports mission is to elevate our community through wellness, fitness and education. In 2024, V3 Sports opened Phase One of the V3 Center, a 40,000 square foot health and wellness center that will grow to be a North Minneapolis community asset and a regional destination. The focus of Phase One is to provide a place for Northside residents of all ages to access water, state of the art fitness equipment, physical rehabilitation and enjoy healthy and delicious food offerings.

Phase Two, which V3 Sports is actively fundraising for, will be a regional destination for sporting events, career fairs, community events, and other drivers of economic stability. At the V3 Center, Northside young people and families will access programming that supports their career and economic aspirations and builds the skills they need to make their dreams reality.

Wages and Benefits

$16 per hour; This position is not eligible for benefits except for worker's compensation, unemployment coverage, and accrual of Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave. V3 Sports sponsors a retirement plan with a 4% employer match and immediate vesting.

A Typical Day in the Life...

A typical day as V3 Sports' Membership Specialist provides an opportunity to be responsible for the day-to-day front desk operations of the center, which can include selling memberships, providing accurate facility and membership information, setting up and linking accounts correctly, offering general information on programming, as well as the following:



  • Greeting and interacting with all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensuring that all members and guests are properly checked in at V3 and participating in the delivery of services to members.
  • Managing communication channels like emails, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of V3 Sports products, services, policies, and eligibility requirements.
  • Responsible for learning all applicable V3 membership categories to give prospective members timely and precise information on V3 membership and programs.
  • Opening and closing the Membership operation when scheduled.
  • Providing facility tours as needed.
  • Learning and using the Mindbody software.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized member service desk.
  • Following proper procedures for all membership transactions.
  • Following all proper cash handling and cash drawer procedures.
