Equipment Solutions Manager SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an Equipment Solutions Manager that will partner with the Equipment Facility Manager to successfully manage Mortenson's equipment facility. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify current and future maintenance requirements by establishing rapport with management, and project personnel, craft, technicians, and other persons in a position to understand maintenance requirements.
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Invoice processing, month-end close processes, and other accounting functions as needed.
- Learn and understand equipment rate schedules and how they are built.
- Effectively review reports and understand how to dissect the information, utilize it to your advantage and teach others.
- Ensure production operations by determining work priorities and scheduling repair and maintenance, of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Support product development and improvement by reviewing new product plans, discussing equipment needs, coordinating activities of technicians and workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment.
- Design, implement, and modify preventive maintenance programs by reviewing production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics; inspecting operating machines, equipment, and systems for conformance with operational standards.
- Direct operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Resolve problems by conferring with management and quality control personnel.
- Protect employees and visitors by maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and follow up on work results.
- Support the team with interviewing, orientation and training as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of construction processes, equipment and materials.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback.

- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in rental of construction equipment and/or construction equipment sales.
- Current driver's license.
- Experience with budget management.

The base pay range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 Max. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. #LI-JF1 #LI-Onsite Please make note:
