The Neenah Parks and Recreation Department employs summer staff ages 15 & older for recreation in sports, playgrounds & swimming pool. Sport Assistants (Archery, Youth Sports, & Tennis)	Starting at $12.50/hr plus staff shirts
Playground Assistants (Adventure & Trips, Tot Lot, Crafts, & Park Kart)	Starting at $12.50/hr plus staff shirts
Sport Leaders (Archery, Youth Sports, Tennis)	Starting at $13.50/hr plus staff shirts
Playground Leaders (Adventure & Trips, Operation Recreation, Tot Lot & Crafts, Park Kart)	Starting at $13.50/hr plus staff shirts

Requirements:

Sport/Playground Assistants: Must be 15 years of age by start of the season.
Sport/Playground Leaders: Must be 17 years of age by start of the season.
Ability to work with and instruct children of varied age groups, maintain discipline and supervise staff.

Job Description:

Sport/Playground Assistants: Supervise various aspects of instruction, use of equipment and facilities. See that safety rules are followed. Attend and participate in staff meetings. Provide instruction, assist in planning, preparation and conduct of activities. Provide additional services as required.
Sport/Playground Leaders: Supervision, leadership, instruction, and planning of all activities in program or at assigned site. Maintain written records as required. See that facility and equipment are kept in safe operating condition. Attend and/or organize staff meetings. Supervise program assistants.

Interview Information:

Winter interview invitations will be emailed mid December. Interview dates will take place on the final week of December.
Returning staff will not be guaranteed continued employment, but will be given first consideration.
