Your Role With Us:Salem Health is seeking an expert in provider recruitment to supervise our team of provider recruiters. The Provider Recruitment Supervisor is responsible for the following functions: Oversees the daily workflow of the provider recruitment team; ensures staff remain consistent in application of standards, adhere to organizational policies and procedures, and effectively utilize systems; engages the Manager to remove roadblocks for desired Lean work. Under direction of the Manager works to deploy program goals in alignment with strategy. Adept in seeking out and using internal metrics and external market data to support actions and develop recommendations: Makes data visible and meaningful to team. Draws conclusions from data and uses the information to: inform leaders of findings and make recommendations; partner with team to develop SMART goals pertaining to strategic direction. Reports ad hoc data to leadership, as requested. Under direction of the Manager leads, develops and coaches staff in skill development; continuous effort to enhance processes, improve turnaround times, streamline workflows, and work cooperatively and collaboratively with other functional areas to provide seamless service excellence. Serves as initial escalation point for frontline team's questions and issues and collaborates with Manager to determine resolution as needed. In partnership with the Manager identifies best practices in the market regarding sourcing talent through proactive pipelines:Upon learning of opportunities to improve market-competitiveness, engages the Manager to partner on plans to proactively respond to industry & organizational trends impacting recruitment. Evaluates the need for, and participates in, the development and delivery of education and training both formal and informal, to leaders, key stakeholders, and the team as applicable. Oversees internal auditing methods to ensure accuracy and works with team to determine plans for improvement as needed to maintain performance standards. Escalates areas of concern to the Manager. In partnership with the Manager ensures proactive compliance and regulatory readiness of provider recruitment records, including the interplay between HR requirements/ processes and other departments' requirements. Participates in audits for compliance; identifies gaps and partners with applicable parties to resolve. Program oversite strongly preferred. Direct supervisory experience helpful.Experience developing recruitment strategies and/or pipeline development through outreach tactics, student and community relations, etc. highly desirable. Experience using key metrics and KPIs to inform initiatives required. Experience using applicable lean tools and leading process improvement activities preferred. Experience in a health care environment, including in employment related topics preferred. Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Working knowledge of HR/ employment rules, laws and regulations as well as their practical application. Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to utilize HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, Word and advanced Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Maintains consistency and accuracy under pressure. Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills in working with all levels of customers. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills and demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Requires self-direction and the ability to exercise judgment in prioritization, accuracy, and promptness in completion of projects. Ability to recognize and seek additional information when needed.
