Strategic Sourcing Manager, Team Lead- What this job involves
This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for facility services across local, regional, or national initiatives. Candidate will ensure procurement standards are developed and maintained throughout the portfolio; serve as a strategic guiding force for the team of sourcing managers, specialists, and coordinators on a group of accounts; act as a key escalation point, leading, guiding, and training the team and elevating the level of strategy on each account; engage deeply and meaningful with the client to elevate the status, value, and strategy of the sourcing organization.
Developing and supporting the multi-year sourcing category strategy and annual sourcing planning process, driving results through program implementation and monitoring resultson each team

Administer and maintain Supplier contract files to ensure compliancy and all necessary contract documentation requirements

Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedureson all teams

Conduct regular market and spend analysis programs to drive cost savings and supplier improvements

Conduct local and regional Supplier Performance review meetings, when requested, and manage supplier scorecards, contract compliance and service obligations.

Build transparency of Supplier spend and key risks related to our suppliers. Lead reporting of results and opportunities

Partner with operations team by providing management, detailed instruction and continuous follow-up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contract processes. Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations

Establish relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management

Desired experience and technical skills
Required
10+ years of strategic sourcing experience

3-5 years of people management experience and/or account management experience

Bachelor's Degree, Supply Chain or Procurement preferred
