Exciting Opportunity: Director of Engineering at JLL!

Lead a global portfolio of 1200 diverse facilities as Regional Director of Engineering. This remote position requires you to be based in any major central or eastern US metro area. You will travel to facilities bi-weekly.

You'll drive strategic operations, implement best practices, and provide thought leadership across office, retail, and critical environments. Partner with account leadership to ensure top-tier client service while managing engineering operations, critical environments, and EH&S standards.

What your day-to-day will look like:
Primary responsibility is to provide oversight management of the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety equipment and systems.
Develop and maintain positive client relationships through operational excellence, industry insights, and concise communications. Deliver dynamic presentations to diverse groups.
Facilitate and maintain a process-oriented culture with scalable repeatable programs and reporting to ensure uptime.
Provide strategic direction to deliver integrated services across the account teams - Facility Management, Engineering, Projects, Occupancy Planning, and Transactions.
Ensure all JLL and client safety procedures are followed and reported.
Foster a culture of proactive behavior by inspecting buildings and all related infrastructure for preventative repairs.
Manage and provide oversight operations for maintenance and capital improvements of all Life Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Building systems.
Evaluate in conjunction with Reliability Engineers and System Owners the existing preventive maintenance scheduling intervals and work to maintain, update, and improve the operational efficiency of the CMMS system.
Identify cost savings opportunities within the maintenance program while maintaining 100% up-time.

Who are we looking for?
Required
A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 10 years of related experience including people management and performance delivery track record.
OR
14 years of related experience including people management and performance delivery track record.
AND
Exceptional leadership abilities, including strong organizational, strategic, and people skills.
Superior relationship-building abilities among a wide variety of stakeholders
Ability to manage ambiguity and change, effectively delegate as needed
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and an ability to effectively present to large groups.

Preferred
Experience working within engineering for financial institutions and critical environments
Strong process orientation such as Six Sigma, LEAN, PMP, or related experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with on-call required 24/7.
Pay $170,000+ depending on experience & a 25% targeted bonus of the annual salary.
