This position will be responsible for managing and leading a team of sourcing professionals, supporting a specific co-location Data Center Client. They will work directly with Sourcing & Procurement teams and leaders, Account Directors, Clients and Divisional leaders to manage expectations and team deliverables.
Near Term Deliverables Implement governance around the flow of contracts and sourcing projects from ideation to close out, leveraging JLL's sourcing platform, ensuring Client achieves best-in-class outcomes through and in collaboration with cross functional stakeholders participating on each project. Deliver a matrix defining primary and secondary suppliers by category, all things considered, for example: JLL's expansive preferred supplier network, nonpreferred suppliers delivering high quality services to a subset of site(s), suppliers' capabilities to service various geographies, etc. Align on a contract brief template focusing on the specific deal points required by cross functional stakeholders, for example a summary of the contracted scope of good or services, diversity status, any key performance indicators or service levels, and fees; change source-to-contract processes to consistently populate, distribute, and warehouse, briefs, for later reference. Proactively take contract or scope of work renewals, or significant expansions, to market, including by leveraging market data to renegotiate with incumbents for "sit still" solutions on better terms; better leverage JLL's overall spend by championing cross-Client go-to-market or supplier-management projects. Build a plan to deliver a supplier performance management and accountability program including any first-mover investments required to deliver a best-in-class fee recoupment program for poor supplier performance against objective service criteria or levels. Develop appropriate tie-ins to Platform-level supplier performance management initiatives. Build the training and governance needed to effectively roll-out these capabilities on the account. Assess and implement changes to optimize value delivery and compliance by effectively leveraging various dedicated and dotted-line resources to execute against the total organizational sourcing scope; empower resources to execute the end-to-end process for their assigned subset; hold resources accountable to deliver. Strategic Leadership Qualities Articulate a clear value proposition for the sourcing function, and establish healthy relationships with internal and external clients to validate sourcing is delivering the value Segment contracts and sourcing projects into a beginning, middle, and end; map out critical interim milestones that are measurable and achievable Engage cross functionally to drive change; establish meaningful reporting against plan; identify bottlenecks, roadblocks, etc., and obtain buy-in on solutions in advance Provide impactful leadership in a collaborative environment. Ensure account meets KPIs and Goals set forth by Sourcing & Procurement and Client. Oversee assigned portfolio compliance and controls, develop new and innovative sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for improvement. Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to Clients. Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding their business needs and priorities. Bring strategic thought leadership to the team, as it relates to Sourcing and People Manager activities. Ensure contracting and procurement standards, policies and procedures are maintained and followed throughout the portfolio of managed accounts Partner with internal operations teams such as JLL Facility Management and Project Management teams to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to the Client Account Oversight and People Management Oversight of Annual Sourcing Plan development and implementation Ensure sourcing technology tools are leveraged where applicable. Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures. Review and analyze data to make effective business decisions Partner your teams with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and continuous follow-up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contract processes. Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations Establish relationship with key stakeholder, including Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management Education and experience 8+ years strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired People management experience Bachelor's Degree - Business, Supply Chain Management preferred MBA, a plus CPM, CPSM or CPSD certification preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Proven track record of leading teams, with an ability to influence across the organization and deliver results in evolving environments Strategic mindset with the ability to develop strategic roadmaps and translate into executable plans and supply solutions Superior customer service, relationship building and follow up skills Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer. Motivated to grow and perform in a high-performance organization Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines.
