Cape Fox subsidiary Concentric Methods, LLC is accepting resume for a Registered Nurse with EMT experience to support the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) in Potomac, Maryland. This position is a remote position with in-office/on-site support as required. The schedule will be Monday through Friday. The RN/EMT will oversee and manage the implementation and compliance of Occupational Medical and Health Services programs and initiatives of assigned territory. Requirements:
- 10 years' experience as aRN
- 2 years' experience as an EMT
Responsibilities:
- Assists with implementing and managing the USPIS National Occupational Health & Medical Services program.
- Assists with managing medical and medically related programs for USPIS to include applicant and employee medical suitability, health education, random drug testing, operational medical support program, health examinations program, and disability and fitness for duty determinations.
- Work with department manager to develop and coordinate the implementation of the Postal Service's public health and disaster management response policies in alignment with relevant federal agency guidelines and regulations, to protect the health and safety of postal employees from man-made or natural biological threats.
- Provide support to internal and external stakeholders, HQ / Division leadership teams and cross functional teams. This can include assisting with preparing reports to provide tracking and trending to be presented to senior leadership. Additional duties may include researching and posting information on medical and wellness topics of interest to the department webpage along with other special projects as assigned by department manager.
- Consults with USPIS Physicians and/or Contracted Physicians for medical and technical guidance concerning occupational health services and programs, interpretation of regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards and controls to ensure quality assurance and compliance.
- Communicate frequently with USPIS employees, management teams, providers and other federal/local agencies as needed.
- Assist the USPIS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with managing the USPIS Operational Medical Support Program (OMSP).
- Assist with ordering and tracking medical kits and supplies for OMSP EMT team members, vehicle and division First Aid and Trauma Kits.
- Provide logistical support with kitting and shipping training supplies and materials to class site locations nationwide.
- Monitor deployment and usage of stationary and mobile AEDs.
- Provide support and or monitoring for training to include Law Enforcement Responder, EMT, Threat Management and Dangerous Mail Investigation courses.
