GENERAL FUNCTION

The Administrator-Compliance role will provide documentation and workflow tracking support to the EyeMed Regulatory Compliance team. The role is responsible for maintaining research logs, reviewing tracking status and accuracy of all internal research support documentation. As directed by leadership, the individual will support drafting commentary on regulatory bulletins and working with Senior Managers to disseminate information to applicable EyeMed departments for implementation.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Maintains the Compliance Department's library of regulatory standards (original documents and summary compilations) that is indexed, dated, and cross-referenced for ease of access and for tracking of regulatory changes.
  • Supports the creation of state/regulation specific bulletins related to regulations for dissemination to EyeMed departments and for use by the Integration Director in implementing the regulations with the applicable business owners.
  • Responsible for system data entry for tracking compliance issue requests and helps maintain regulatory issue log maintenance. Also supports reporting and analysis of departmental trends and workflow practices.
  • Accurately communicates updates to the Compliance Documentation Library to Compliance Leadership maintaining a high level of confidentiality and sound judgment.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a regulatory or compliance related support role
  • Interest in to reading, interpreting, and understanding laws, regulations, or other legal guidance at both state and federal levels.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and ability to balance multiple tasks.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork focus and ability to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and is proactive.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Prior experience with legal or compliance research tools/software (i.e. NILS or other similar industry tools)
  • Paralegal or similar skillset
  • Professionally interfaces and communicates among multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience researching or willingness to research new and updated Federal and State regulations.
  • Prior experience working for a managed care organization or health plan (commercial, marketplace, Medicaid, or Medicare).

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
